Visit Start menu » Programs » SQL recovery software. The following screen appears afterwards:
STEP 2:
First of all select Open in order to open the files from the options given by tool in Menu bar.
STEP 3:
Select file from system and click 'Open' button. The file will be imported into tool.
STEP 4:
You will get two tabs here: one is for Scan Options and another for NDF Options. Scan Mode provides Quick Scan and Advance Scan, choose according to intensity of corruption.
STEP 5:
Select the second tab of NDF Options. Select Auto Detect option and tool itself will add the associated secondary files. Or select second option and Add Files or Add Folder.
STEP 6:
Now select associated NDF files and click OK. You can also Remove file.
STEP 7:
Software shows complete details of selected files and prompts when scanning completes.
STEP 8:
If you want to save scanned file then click on "Yes" otherwise "No"
STEP 9:
This scanned file and details can be saved as a .str file. You can Save it at desired location.
STEP 10:
Tool provides a Preview of recovered database files including details of tables, views, stored procedures, etc.
STEP 11:
To export this data click Export.
STEP 12:
You can export the data directly in live SQL Server database or SQL Server Compatible SQL Scripts. For first option you will have to provide necessary credentials. Note:Username and Password is not necessary when you are using Windows Server Authentication and not using SQL Server Authentication.
STEP 13:
If you choose the SQL Server Compatible SQL Scripts option .sql files will be created which can be later restored.
Select the desired items by checking them according to your need and only these items will be exported.
STEP 14:
In the bottom-right panel of the tool, provide preference to the software in respect to:
1. Export Only Schema of selected tables/views/procedures.
2. Export Schema with Data.
Now you are ready to Export/Save the data, and for this click Save tab.
STEP 15:
Browse for the location where you want to save the files and click OK.
STEP 16:
Software will itself prompt you a message when the whole process completes. Click OK.
